Trappistes Rochefort
Trappistes Rochefort 8: a nice way to end a day of riding (and to replace the calories lost on the bike as well!) The aroma is almost flower-like. I wonder if any of the Lug Bros. & Co. have tried it. I was inspired to buy it by the beer Dad and I shared while playing Scrabble in Cadillac this summer (was it Westmalle Tripel?)

It was Westmalle Trippel. I have gone back to Thirsty's twice since you were here and they do not have it right now. Michael Jackson's book offers insights into many Belgian ales. There seems to be a world waiting to discover in these fine ales. I have had to satisfy myself with Bell's Octoberfest, a very good seasonal ale.

Kate was just making fun of your "artistic" pictures of beer. Way to go. Don't think that I have had that beer before.
