Icy Ride

Today was a wonderfully sunny, but cold day and I had finally reached the point that i just could not stand riding trainer anymore, so regardless of the cold temps I went out for a ride. I rode through the old ammo plant on roads that were slushy. It was my first ride with the new wheelset for my single speed. By the end of the ride, there was icy road grime all over my bike.

More Dogsledding

Sam had more fun being pulled around the field today by the dogs. He also loved going sledding at the old school.

New Years Day Ride

It has been quite a while since we had a ride post on the blog. Yesterday I went out for a ride during John and Sandy's party on roads that I haven't ridden in a few years. It was nice to be outside as we haven't had great riding weather lately. We had rain the night and day before New Years, so all the little streams were overflowing.

Snow Day

Monday we had our first snow of winter here in Utica. Sam wasn't certain at first about it, but has come to like winter.

Picking Our Christmas Tree

Yesterday we went to get our tree and while this might be Sam's second Christmas it is the first that he can do a lot of things with us.
